Patient Assessment Services
 Maier
Family Pharmacy also offers patient assessment services by our
respiratory therapist. These assessments include the
following:

Home visits by a licensed clinical specialist
-
Respiratory assessment with screening, oximetry at rest, with
daily activities and overnight
-
Education on the disease process, prescribed therapies and
equipment usage and maintenance.
These assessments provide benefits to both doctor and patient
by:

Improving patient compliance through patient education
-
Clinical feedback in a timely manner
-
Improving quality of life for the patient.
Patient Assessment services are FREE to both physicians and
patients. Patient assessment information gathered by our
Respiratory Therapist cannot be used to qualify a patient for
Oxygen through Maier Family Pharmacy. If results indicated
the necessity for Oxygen therapy, a third party assessment will
be ordered at no cost to the patient or physician.
