Disposal of old medications

Maier Family Pharmacy takes the disposal of unused or expired medications very seriously.  This is why we have chosen to partake in the TAKEAWAY Environmental Return System.  You can bring-in your acceptable (see below) medicines and we will make sure they are disposed of properly - without causing damage to environment or endangering water supplies.

Our disposal box is located next to the Rx pickup area, beside the medical equipment cleaning and storage room.  Please ask if you need assistance in using the drop-off box.
