CD support page
 If
you are having problems using your Product & Service Information
for Prescribers CD, please browse through the following list of
'Tips' to help find the answers you're looking for. You
may also call Maier Family Pharmacy at 712-881-1033 with any
questions you may have.
1. My program doesn't start automatically when I insert the
CD into the computer...
If 'Autoplay' or Autorun has been disabled on your computer,
click on Start, Computer (or My Computer) and double-click the
CD drive letter (usually D: or E:). If this doesn't work,
click on Start, Computer (or My Computer), right-click the CD
drive letter and select Explore. Double-click (Play) to
start the program.
2. My computer gives me a prompt that some hyperlinks my
contain viruses or can be harmful to my computer...
There are no viruses or harmful files on the CD. Click
continue or OK to open the PDF files. The website links
take you directly to maierpharmacy.com and our associated
websites that are also virus/spyware free.
3. I would like to install the program on my computer so I
don't need to use the CD...
You may install the CD on your computer. Simply click
on Start, Computer (or My Computer), right-click on the CD drive
letter and select (copy). Select a location to save the
file, (example: on your desktop so it's easy to find) once
you've determined where you would like to save the file, right
click and select (paste). Once you've copied the program
from the CD to your computer you and open the program by double
clicking the folder (DME-CD) and clicking on (Play).
4. How do I fill out the forms using my computer...
Once you click on a hyperlink to download a form, it will
open using Acrobat Reader. Simply click your mouse over
the area you would like to type. (you may receive a
warning that you cannot save the form information) this is OK
since you will be printing it anyway) Type the information in
the field and use your (Tab) key to advance to the next form
field. When finished simply close Acrobat Reader and
return to return to the PowerPoint Viewer program.
